Description of research interests

My research interests lie in the field of space physics and numerical modeling. Much of my recent work involved modeling the magnetospheres of Earth and other planets. Understanding physical processes in the terrestrial magnetosphere has important consequences for many aspect of modern technology, such as GPS accuracy, satellite performance, and high-frequency communications, especially at high geomagnetic latitudes.
